Everything you need to know about FPVSound
We are the world's first platform dedicated to generating simulated audio for FPV drones. Our sound generation algorithm has gone through multiple iterations of optimization to produce realistic audio that matches flight movements while eliminating the unwanted noise often captured by devices like GoPro. It can provide a more immersive stereo experience for your video.
Please rest assured, the Lua script itself is an extension supported by open-source radios. Our script simply records your stick inputs during flight and writes them to the log file, without any additional computational consumption. It will not affect your operation of the drone or cause any operation delay.
Our Lua scripts are designed to work with all open-source radios running EdgeTX, including popular brands like FrSky, Radiomaster, and Jumper. Currently, we do not support DJI radios and TBS radios.
No, your video is only loaded locally in your browser for better preview of the audio effect, and it will not be uploaded to our server.
We support MP4, MOV, and AVI files up to 2000MB. AVI files will be automatically converted to MP4 format. We've tested compatibility with recordings from common digital FPV video transmitters such as DJI O3, Vista, DJI O4, DJI O4 Pro, as well as goggles including DJI V2, DJI G2, and DJI G3.
Yes. Click the 'Preview' button to hear a sample of the generated sound synced with your video before committing to the full download.
After your flight, connect your radio to a computer and navigate to the SD card. The log files are automatically saved in the /LOGS folder by our Lua script.
For a 1-minute flight, the log file size is approximately 25KB. This means you can store 40 minutes of flight logs with 1MB of storage space. You can evaluate whether you need to upgrade your radio's SD card capacity based on your radio's SD card size.
